The children woke up way too early today. The combination of Easter bunny excitement and the full moon had the girls up before 4am. *yawn* We managed to keep fairly quiet and out of the front room until 6 at which time the girls hunted eggs. The bunny put freeze dried strawberries and mangos in the eggs so the girls gobbled them up right away. The hubby made us a huge breakfast and I made some almond flour cinnamon raisin rolls. The girls got dressed up in their fancy dresses and went out to play egg hunt in the yard with Dad.

Gram and Gramps joined us for brunch. I made St. Brigid's Meadows pastured ham with a pineapple-mustard glaze, a bacon-onion quiche, prosciutto wrapped asparagus, sweet potatoes, and mimosas. Grandma hid more eggs outside and read stories until everyone was ready for a nap. Well, I was anyway. I talked Junior into a nap and fell into a deep sugar coma for the next couple of hours. Zzzzzzz... The hubby took Magoo to the park and fixed dinner and gave baths. I woke just in time to help Junior head off to bed. What a day. This Mom Loves all the excitement of a holiday but I will love our quiet day home from school tomorrow even better.
